‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty

✝️So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the LORD Almighty. 

* God says to Zechariah, when the King Zerubbabel rebuilds the temple, he doesn’t have the royal might and power that the original builders had, King David and King Solomon

* there’s an acknowledgement  right away that the human abilities are inadequate.

* but God says, “That’s all right, because I’m not concerned about the power and the might you possess – the power of the Spirit is going to be enough”

We maybe limited in the human side of us . But we have in us our Helper, Power, Enabler ..The Holy Spirit in us to do for us what we can’t do for ourselves. The Holy Spirit was sent by the Father to empower us to do the impossible! 

Like Sarah , Hannah, Rebecca, Rachel, Ma Noah’s wife, Elizabeth and Mary it was the Spirit of God that fell “ upon them” enabling them to conceive and be pregnant. Here is the great news ...we have a better covenant ..The Holy Spirit in dwells us 24/7 being our “very present” help any time we call upon and depend upon Him . 

So let’s not focus on our human ability to God’s ability and Power to conceive ! Hallelujah! 

Not by might not by power but by the Holy Spirit that indwells the daughter’s of God to conceive supernaturally. 

Depend on His Power not ours . 

Prayer🙏🏽 : Thank you Father through the Finish Work of Jesus, we have in us your Holy Spirit that indwells us to do what we could not do for ourselves. Thank you that it is not by might or by power but by your Spirit I have conceived and I am now pregnant, let it be done here on Earth in Jesus Name .
